This fishing town, located between beaches and mountains, 25 km away from Puerto Plata and 15 km from the Gregorio Luperon International Airport, is one of the most important touristic spots of the northern coast.

It is formed by the quarters of Los Charamicos, pure Dominican area and El Batey, where you can find the mayority of hotels and commercial points, both facing the extensive beach of Sosua.
