When talking about attractions in the North Coast, we cannot fail to mention the wide array of beautiful golf courses. The North Coast has a variety of challenging and gorgeous options for golfers of all levels.
Playa Dorada Golf Club, located on a 14 hotel complex called Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata, with 18 holes, 6,730 yards. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones and has been open since 1976.
Playa Grande Golf Course, established in Playa Grande, Rio San Juan. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones and has been open since 1997. It has 18 holes, 10 of them are displayed along the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean, with a length of 7,046 yards. It's about an hour from Sosúa, and people who have visited it, label it as one of the most beautiful views of the Caribbean.
